After retirement, I developed a problem in my left shoulder. The pain was so bad that I could not lift my arm past my shoulder. I heard about Sherry's yoga class and decided to try that first instead of medical treatment. It did not take long before I realized that I had made the right decision. The pain started reducing itself until it went away completely. I regained full use of my arm. I have continued with Sherry's classes for about 8 years now and still continue to benefit from them. I am now in my 70's and I believe it slows down the aging process. When performing the various poses, Sherry will assist me with minor adjustments and I instantly feel the benefit. The individual attention she gives to each student really makes the difference between a mediocre exercise and a beneficial workout. Yoga has become a part of my everyday life, and not to just get relief from an ailment, but to improve my quality of life.
